Heather Mackie – PR and Marketing Executive

Heather is our PR and Marketing Executive. She supports on projects across our portfolio of clients, creating impactful content for both PR and digital marketing purposes.

She graduated with a degree in marketing in 2019 having been a student at the University of the West of Scotland. Whilst there she worked with multiple clients on projects which included complete rebranding, repositioning, and company expansion research.

Heather has also spent a year at Tramway Studio, a renowned international arts venue in Glasgow to deepen her creative ability.

Being brought up on the family dairy and beef farm in the West of Scotland, before joining Red Stag Media, Heather worked full-time on the farm and was hands-on in every aspect of the job. Now working remotely and out of the farm office, whilst some people like to take the dog for a walk on their lunch break, Heather likes to count and photograph her cows!

Her knowledge of agriculture is a great asset to the team, as she has an in-depth understanding of the industry with a passion for it that really shines through in the work she does for our clients.

Heather has also run a successful farming blog. She is extremely passionate about showing the agriculture industry in all its glory and highlighting how relevant our ethical farming practices are to the general public.

In her spare time, when she is not playing with cows, Heather spends her time up a Munro taking in the views which are usually supplemented with a dram of Scotch whisky. In the winter, she can normally be found in front of the fire, sewing her way towards a new wardrobe with the aim of making that additional extra Christmas weight fashionable!
